Kelly Renz, inVantage's CEO, was interviewed by College Recruiter and the National SHRM organization in 2018 where she spoke at their 20,000 attendee conference on the importance of Succession Planning.  This article highlights that it can be a simple, but focused process rooted in identifying talent that is willing and able to grow in your organization.  She also reminds us that Succession Planning is for all levels of the organization - not just the executive levels.  Key roles (those that will be painful if vacated, such as key client relationship managers) and single points of failure (they know the secret sauce) are throughout our companies and need to be identified for business continuance measures.
