inVantage CEO Kelly Renz spoke about how to Build a High Performing Team at the Strategic Leadership Series hosted by the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
What is a high performing team? A high performing team is an interdependent, clearly role-defined group of individuals who possess high emotional intelligence (EQ), share responsibility, and demonstrate mutual trust and values, with a clear focus on a common goal.
The focus of the session was to discuss the four main components of high performing teams including: team lifecycle, teambuilding strategies, team rhythms, and team and individual measurements of success.
The day ended with a challenge for participants to commit to two actions they will take to build an even higher performing team.
